What are your qualifications?
I have personally recovered from the depths of social anxiety disorder with the help of others. I currently possess an Associate's Degree in Computer Networking, Bachelor's in Social Work, and am in school for a Master's in Social Work Administration.
Do you offer private help or counseling?
I can offer private help only. This means that I can give you advice, guidance, or direction that you are free to take or not to take. I currently go to graduate school for Social Work Administration, which is a different track than counseling. Even though I am recovering from anxiety and my life is heading in the right direction, I cannot offer you "professional" advice. What I say does work, but it has to be considered for informational purposes only, otherwise, I will find myself in some legal troubles!
How long has this site been online?
The Anxiety Support Network has been online since October of 2008. It is continuing to grow and change as a site, and the vision that I currently have for it is that it becomes the one-stop resource for everything related to recovering from anxiety. If the Anxiety Support Network is unable to find an answer for you and help you to change your life around, then we will at least point you in the direction of someone who can.
I'd like to send you a book, audio program, or other anxiety product to review and/or sell on your website. How do I do this?
I would be happy to review your book, audio program, or whatever anxiety product it is that you might be interested in distributing through this website. Keep in mind, however, that the visitors of this site will be provided with a certain level of quality and not everything will be able to pass through, therefore, you should be confident that you have an excellent product to provide! Please e-mail me if you are interested in promoting your product on this website.
Do you accept guest articles?
The Anxiety Support Network does accept guest articles. If you would like to submit one, please ensure that you have some sort of life experience with social anxiety disorder. Articles that are original and/or personal in nature have a much greater chance of becoming accepted. E-mail them to dan@anxietysupportnetwork.com for consideration and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.
Can I link to your site?
Of course you can. Please link to http://www.anxietysupportnetwork.com If you add descriptions to your link please use this as the description: "Your Social Anxiety Disorder Recovery Home!"
Do you do link exchanges?
Yes, but only with high-quality websites. If you have an obviously template-driven website, frequent misspellings and other grammatical errors, or have any doubt that your site is anything less than your very best work, please do not bother asking for a link exchange. Otherwise, feel free to give it a try and we'll see what happens!
Can I publish your content on my website?
Yes, but you must include a reciprocal link. You may either link to the home page, http://www.anxietysupportnetwork.com or to the location of the original article.
I'd love to interview you for my radio show, blog, podcast, or other publication. Are you willing to do this?
Absolutely! However, be sure that you have a fairly high-quality radio show, blog, podcast, or publication. If you are a small site and have barely any traffic, I am willing to do an interview so long as the quality of your web site is high.
